Northwest of Boston lies the town of Arlington that was historically a farming community that had grown lettuce. Settled in 1635, Arlington had also played a significant role in the ice industry with an ice house by Spy Pond that had serviced the area until the 1930’s.

Arlington, like some other towns just outside of Boston, has become popular for many as it offers ease of accessibility to Boston in a community full of shopping, dining and entertainment. In addition, the assortment of schools both public and private make Arlington a prime choice for families to settle. Many parks, ponds and historic sites scattered throughout the town add more options for one to enjoy at their leisure.
